Our Halloween Party was Fun!

Last Saturday was a lot of fun here at LitLife!  We had a whole bunch of princesses, angels, honey bees, even a fearsome Darth Maul here to celebrate Halloween!

Gina was a terrifying Mrs. Dracula!


I went as a 1950’s sock-hopper, complete with poodle skirt!


We took pictures (until the battery ran out); made foam pumpkins and had treat bags.  We served hot, mulled apple cider and iced donuts, too!  Gina read aloud Sipping Spiders Through Straws, by Michigan author Kelly DiPucchio and illustrated by Gris Grimley.

She even sang the songs!  It was a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to our Kids’ First Saturday Christmas Party on December 6th!
