Third Thursday at LitLife:  Community Camaraderie with The Kilpatricks

I am excited to report that Literary Life’s first Third Thursday event was a success!  The evening was welcomed by the acoustic performance of Amber and Ryan Kilpatrick.  As the snow fell gracefully, the Kilpatricks’ folk music delightfully permeated the quaint and cozy bookstore.  There was a casual atmosphere that welcomed quiet conversations to take place amongst the audience and the Kilpatricks.  One could feel the welcoming light-heartedness and nonchalance as Amber and Ryan comfortably entertained the audience with a couple of original songs.  Credibly carried out covers were authentic, adapting well to Amber’s beautiful and charming voice.  Ryan showed his ability to keenly strum a guitar, whether covering a Pearl Jam song or delicately weaving a song of their own creation.  Literary Life is pleased to have hosted Amber and Ryan’s first event together and it was nice to see some familiar and not-so familiar faces.  As Literary Life continues hosting Third Thursday events, we are charmed to be part of a community that is growing strong together!
