Henry Hikes
Many of you know Zachary, our in-house poet, naturalist, and philosopher.  He has chosen to read Henry Hikes to Fitchburg by Donald B. Johnson for the First Saturday for Kids event in September.  Henry Hikes to Fitchburg was inspired by one of Zachary’s favorite books, Walden by Henry David Thoreau.  Follow the adventures of Henry the bear and his friends as they choose different methods to travel through the country.  Children will be delighted by the colorful illustrations and will enjoy learning about the countryside through Henry’s eyes.
